About
Background
I grew up in an Air Force family and traveled to several locations, where I built a strength in adaptability and heightened curiosity about social and personal interactions within the mind. I have been a musician for over 15 years and have competed primarily in swimming and the performing arts, but have also enjoyed swimming and water polo. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education Degree from Central Washington University and a Master of Science in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States. I strive to connect the similarities of sports and performing arts in the hope of future collaboration. Developing a healthy identity, using positive self-talk, and practicing self-awareness are some of her core roots in mental skills training.
I live near the Tacoma, WA area working with athletes and performing artists while teaching and enjoying practicing mental skills through conducting, playing saxophone, going to the gym, and trying to beat my dad in cornhole.
